Yes. The Remove Duplicates mode keeps the first occurrence and reports how many lines were removed.

Can it sort numbers and line length?

Yes. Sort Lines supports text, numeric, and line-length sorting in ascending or descending order.

Does switching mode delete my input?

No. The same input stays in place when you switch between modes.
